22 Adorable Cat Memes to Warm Up Your Hearts and Paws on These Chilly Autumn Days

No matter what we seem to do, we’re always cold. We could put on multiple layers of fuzzy sweaters, snuggle up under cozy blankets, drink some hot tea, and we’d still be shivering. You know why? Because we’re trying to warm ourselves from the outside in, instead of the inside out. How does one warm up one’s insides? Well, the easiest way is through the heart, and there is nothing that warms our hearts more than adorable cat memes. They’re like the hand-warmers of the soul or the oversized hoodie you steal from your husband that is the coziest clothing ever. With their purrfect smiles, kissable heads, and awwdorable toe beans, we can’t help but feel loved and warm in their pawsitive presence. They also do make very good heaters, by the way, but that’s besides the point. That is, if they aren’t hogging the space heater for themselves. But the best thing about these heartwarming cat memes is that they’re free, and turning up the heat isn’t. They’re like the first spoonful of soup after coming home from a chilly autumn day, or a cup of hot cocoa while hearing the rain fall outside. Except you can scroll through these wholesome kitties to your heart’s content, and we can’t say the same about soup. Warm up your soul, your fingers, and your joy with these fine felines below, and have a cozy and fuzzy week!.

Neha Kakkar’s name misused in Rs 5 lakh investment scam; FIR filed at Worli police station

According to an FIR registered at the Worli police station, Advocate Shabnam Mohammad Hussain Syed discovered a series of fake articles and videos in June 2025 that falsely associated Neha Kakkar with an investment outfit called FXOnet. The scammers portrayed the platform as “trusted and legal,” using Kakkar’s image to lend credibility. Syed, a resident of BDD Chawl in Worli, was lured by these fraudulent promotions and engaged with the alleged perpetrators, who went by the names Vijay and later Jimmy D’Souza. Communication was maintained through international numbers, the Telegram messaging app (user ID: @fxonetlbot), and Zoom meetings, giving the operation a veneer of authenticity. The accused provided investment “tips” and guided Syed through opening an FXOnet trading account. Between June 18 and October 9, 2025, Syed transferred Rs 5, 02, 025 through UPI to various bank accounts linked to entities, including Rajesh Kannan, VPI ProMedia Kigali, India Impex Trading Company, and VPI 361 VPECOM. When Syed failed to receive any promised returns or refunds, she realised she had been deceived and filed a police complaint. Mumbai Police have booked the accused under the provisions of the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita (BNS) and the Information Technology Act (IT Act). Investigators are collecting digital evidence, including Telegram chats, Zoom call details, and transaction records, to trace the culprits. This is not the first time fraudsters have exploited celebrity identities in financial scams. Earlier, Mumbai Police registered another complaint involving a scammer impersonating Hollywood star Keanu Reeves to cheat a 69-year-old woman out of Rs 65, 000. EXCLUSIVE: In a RARE development, CBFC passes De De Pyaar De 2 with ZERO cuts

The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) is known to impose several cuts or ask for replacements and modifications in scenes or dialogues that they find inappropriate or objectionable. Even clean family entertainers have gone through such censorship. Hence, it’ll be a pleasant surprise for our readers to know that De De Pyaar De 2 has proved to be an exception. Bollywood Hungama has learned that the upcoming Ajay Devgn-R Madhavan-Rakul Preet Singh starrer has not got a single visual or audio cut. The film has been passed as it is by the Examining Committee of the CBFC. The film has received a U/A 13+ certificate and the process was completed on November 6. The length of the film, as mentioned on the censor certificate, is 147. 10 minutes. In other words, De De Pyaar De 2 is 2 hours, 27 minutes and 10 seconds long. It releases in cinemas on November 14. Past experienceDe De Pyaar De 2 is a sequel to the Ajay Devgn-Tabu-Rakul Preet Singh starrer De De Pyaar De (2019), which suffered several cuts from the CBFC. Even then, Bollywood Hungama was the first one to break the news about its CBFC process. Back then, the CBFC shockingly deleted the visuals of Rakul Preet Singh holding an alcohol bottle and replaced it with the actress holding flowers! Two dialogues, which had double entendre, were also asked to be modified. Second zero cut film of the monthDe De Pyaar De 2 is the second November release to be passed uncut, the first being Haq, starring Emraan Hashmi and Yami Gautam. It is based on the Shah Bano case and such controversial and sensitive films often get the maximum cuts from the CBFC. But like the Ajay Devgn-starrer, it also got a U/A 13+ certificate with no cuts. Its length is 136 minutes, that is, 2 hours and 16 minutes and its makers were handed over the censor certificate on October 28. The film was released in cinemas on November 7. Amol Palekar’s decade-long battle for artistic freedom nears closure as Bombay HC sets final hearing on December 5, 2025

After nearly a decade of pending legal proceedings, the Bombay High Court will finally hear actor-director Amol Palekar’s long-standing petition challenging the mandatory pre-censorship of stage plays and performances. The petition is slated for final hearing on December 5 before a bench comprising Justices Riyaz Chagla and Farhan Dubash. Palekar, now 80 years old, seeks protection of artistic freedom, arguing against the existing requirement under the Bombay Police Act that imposes prior scrutiny of scripts and mandatory certification from the Maharashtra State Performance Scrutiny Board before any play or public performance can be staged. His counsel, Anil Anturkar, told the court, “The petitioner is 85 years old now and wants an outcome, be it positive or negative.” Anturkar emphasized the importance of artistic freedom in the contemporary digital era, pointing out that “there is no censorship of shows and series on OTT platforms,” questioning the logic of continuing the mandatory censorship regime for live performances. The petition specifically contests rules framed under Section 33(1)(wa) of the Bombay Police Act, which authorize police commissioners or superintendents to regulate “places of public amusement” and performances, including traditional tamashas and melas, requiring script scrutiny to safeguard “public order, decency, or morality.”Amol Palekar’s petition argues that such pre-censorship amounts to an unconstitutional curtailment of artistic freedom, stating, “This pre-censorship leads to curtailment of artistic freedom. Because of this, many historic plays have not been performed in their original form.”The Bombay High Court had admitted the plea in 2017 but long delayed its hearing on the merits. The upcoming session on December 5 is expected to bring closure to this critical issue affecting artists and cultural institutions. This case is being closely watched across the theatre community and arts organizations, as a ruling in favor of Palekar could pave the way for greater freedom and creativity in live stage performances in Maharashtra and potentially across India.
