1971 Norton Commando 750 Fastback Long Range at No Reserve
This 1971 Norton Commando 750 Fastback Long Range was refurbished under previous ownership in 2017 at Baxter Cycle of Marne, Iowa. Work included overhauling the 745cc parallel-twin with a machined crankshaft and a replacement camshaft, pistons, bearings, and carburetors as well as powder-coating the frame, refinishing the fuel tank and fastback tail section in red, installing Norvil rearsets, and rebuilding the speedometer and tachometer. Equipment includes a four-speed transmission, a TriSpark electronic-ignition system, a dual exhaust system, an extended-range fuel tank, a two-up seat, replacement 19″ wire-spoke wheels, and a center stand. The seller purchased the bike in 2023 and reports work in September 2025 that consisted of rebuilding the carburetors, adjusting the valves, and changing the oil as well as replacing the battery and air-box hoses. Previously listed on BaT in March 2023, this Commando 750 Fastback is offered again at no reserve with records, spare parts, and a California title in the seller’s name.
