The Safe Passage quest in ARC Raiders is an early-game mission that puts your explosive skills to the test. Given by Apollo, the resident mechanic and trader in Speranza, this quest provides you with all the necessary tools to complete a single objective while venturing and scavenging in the topside zones.

Objective Overview

The primary objective of the Safe Passage mission is straightforward:

  • Destroy 2 ARC enemies using any explosive grenade

To help you complete this mission, Apollo grants you several Light Impact Grenades. These grenades can be equipped in the throwable slot of your loadout and are effective in taking down weaker ARC robots roaming the topside.

How to Complete the Quest

Destroy Two ARC Robots Using Light Impact Grenades

The easiest approach is to land on the Dam Battlegrounds map. From there, head towards any of the following Points of Interest (POIs) where ARC robots such as Pop and Fireball can be found:

  • Hydrophonic Dom Complex
  • Water Treatment
  • Research & Administration
  • Control Tower
  • Primary Facility
  • Testing Annex

These areas often contain high-tier loot but may also host hostile Raiders. Additionally, stronger ARC units like Bastions, Rocketeers, and Leapers patrol these locations. Be cautious and maintain a safe distance from all hostile units.

To use your grenades, equip the Light Impact Grenade by pressing Q on your keyboard and selecting it from the throwable selection wheel. When you spot a Pop or Fireball robot, throw a grenade to make it explode. Repeat this process twice to fulfill the mission objective.

After completing the objective, safely return to Speranza using Extraction Lifts or Raider Hatches.

Rewards for Completing the Safe Passage Quest

Once you extract safely and return to Speranza, speak with Apollo to collect your rewards:

  • 5x Li’l Smoke Grenade
  • 3x Shrapnel Grenade
  • 3x Barricade Kit

These gadgets are highly useful in Raider encounters as they allow you to strategically block lines of sight, trap rooms, and lock doorways, giving you an advantage against hostile teams.

Additional Tips

While hunting Pop and Fireball ARC robots, expect to encounter other hostile ARC forces. It is recommended to bring a heavy ammunition weapon with high ARC armor penetration capabilities to deal with tougher enemies effectively.
