WayOUT has announced the recipients of its 2025 Impact Award, which will be presented at the nonprofit’s upcoming Gayla. This year’s honorees include Oscar-winning *Milk* writer Dustin Lance Black, *RuPaul’s Drag Race: All Stars* Season 2 winner Alaska, Golden Globe-nominated singer Leland, and Crooked Media co-founder Jon Lovett. They will be recognized on November 15 at Avalon Hollywood.
Black’s award will be presented by his Olympic gold-medalist husband, Tom Daley, with additional guests to be announced soon.
WayOUT’s latest Gayla continues the organization’s mission to support life-saving work for LGBTQ youth in vulnerable and underserved communities across the country. This year, the event will benefit Sweet Evening Breeze, the only organization in Louisville, Kentucky dedicated to providing housing for LGBTQ youth experiencing homelessness.
Hosted by Darby Lynn Cartwright and Alexis Bevels, the Gayla will feature performances by Caroline Kingsbury, Zoe Ko, and Fena Barbitall. Attendees can also participate in live and silent auctions throughout the evening.
Tickets for the event are available online.
