### Overview
With a massive 27,650mAh battery capacity, the EcoFlow RAPID Pro Power Bank (300W) is among the most powerful laptop power banks you can carry — without running into airport security issues. It’s an excellent companion for your MacBook, offering a built-in USB-C cable capable of delivering up to 140W of power, enabling fast charging even for a 16-inch MacBook Pro.
—
### Specifications
– **Battery Capacity:** 99.54Wh
– **Fastest Power Output:** 140W
– **Total Power Output:** 300W
– **Power Input:** 280W
– **USB Ports:**
– 2x USB-C (140W PD 3.1)
– 2x USB-C (65W PD 3.0)
– **Dimensions:** 6.5 x 2.2 x 2.3 inches (16.6 x 5.5 x 5.8 cm)
– **Weight:** 24.7 oz (699 g)
The power bank features three USB-C ports on the top and a retractable 60cm USB-C cable tucked neatly at the bottom. While the maximum total output is 300W, the combined power draw of all ports exceeds this (up to 410W), so simultaneous use must stay within the 300W limit.

### Charging Capabilities
You can charge up to four devices simultaneously. For example:
– Connecting two laptops allows both 140W ports (including the built-in cable) to fast-charge two 16-inch MacBook Pros at full speed.
– Charging three devices simultaneously can output 140W, 95W, and 65W — sufficient for three MacBooks.
– Using all four ports, you can fast-charge two MacBooks at 140W each, while the remaining two ports share 20W among other devices.
Compared to the Anker Prime 27,650mAh Power Bank (250W max output), which can only provide 100W to the second 16-inch MacBook Pro, the EcoFlow RAPID Pro offers superior performance.
In real tests, it fully recharged an iPhone 15 Pro in about 1 hour 40 minutes, leaving 85% battery in the power bank.
—
### Performance
The 16-inch MacBook Pro has a battery rated at roughly 99.6Wh — almost identical to the power bank’s 99.54Wh capacity. Although you won’t get 100% recharge due to transfer losses, expect to recharge your laptop up to 70–75%. Plus, batteries over 100Wh are restricted on flights by TSA, CAA, and EASA regulations.
If you don’t need in-flight charging but want a larger capacity for home, office, or outdoor use, consider a bigger power bank like the Ugreen 48,000mAh Portable Charger ($169).
EcoFlow claims you can charge a 49.9Wh MacBook Air 1.3 times. Our test with a 14-inch MacBook Pro (69.6Wh) achieved nearly 1.2 full charges (117%), suggesting the smaller MacBook Air could be charged even more.
—
### Recharge Speed
The RAPID Pro itself can recharge to 80% in about 40 minutes using one of the 140W USB-C ports. Using both 140W ports simultaneously for input (280W total), you can reach 80% in roughly 30 minutes.
EcoFlow also offers a RAPID Pro Desktop Charger (320W input) that can charge to 80% in about 20 minutes. This charger includes two USB-C ports (100W and 30W) and a 22.5W USB-A port, although it was unavailable in the US and UK at the time of this review.
—
### Portability and Design
The power bank measures about 6.5 inches in height — comparable to the length of an iPhone 17 Pro Max. It’s roughly 5.5 inches wide and deep, making it easy to hold in one hand. Weighing just under 25oz (0.7 kg), it’s compact, though not pocketable unless you have especially large pockets or a backpack.
The design is sleek, featuring chrome buttons and a retractable USB-C cable for tidy storage.
—
### Smart Features
A color digital display on the front shows:
– Remaining battery life
– Temperature (important for battery health)
– Charge cycle count (EcoFlow claims 80% capacity retention after 300 cycles)
– Real-time charging wattage per port
If unused for long periods, EcoFlow recommends recharging the power bank every three months to maintain battery health.
The device can be controlled via the EcoFlow app, which provides real-time charging stats such as remaining charge time and input/output power. The app also offers optimizations to extend battery life for both the power bank and connected devices.
Note: Unlike the Anker power bank app, EcoFlow’s app does not include a “Find Device” feature that activates an alert on the power bank for easy location.

### Price and Alternatives
The EcoFlow RAPID Pro Power Bank (27,650mAh, 300W, with built-in cable) is priced at:
– $219.99 US
– £169.99 UK
– CA$249.99 Canada
– €169.99 Europe
Check for discounts and current prices via Amazon or local retailers.
EcoFlow also offers a smaller 20,000mAh model priced at $179.99 / £129.99, featuring a 230W max output and the same number of USB ports (including the built-in cable). It is 5 oz (135g) lighter and might suit owners of the MacBook Air or 14-inch MacBook Pro better. For the 16-inch MacBook Pro, the larger 140W-capable 27,650mAh model is recommended.
Other alternatives with 25,000mAh or higher capacity include:
– Anker Prime 27K (250W) Power Bank
– Anker Prime 26K (300W) Power Bank (currently in testing)
– Anker Power Bank 25K (165W) with two built-in cables
– Sandberg Survivor Power Bank (25K, with a lower 65W USB-C port) — rugged but less powerful USB-C output
– Cuktech 20 Power Bank (25,000mAh, 210W) — cheaper (~$123 MSRP), lower capacity and output but 140W capable on one port
Choosing the right power bank will depend on how you balance price, power output, portability, and smart features.
