A 29-year-old man in Minnesota was arrested on October 16th for allegedly placing a $45,000 hit on U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi.
The self-described “anarchist” was apprehended after the FBI received a tip regarding a social media post targeting Bondi earlier this month.
According to an FBI affidavit submitted to the federal court in Minnesota, the TikTok post features a photo of Bondi with a “sniper-scope red dot” on her forehead, accompanied by the text:
**“WANTED: Pam Bondi. REWARD: $45,000. DEAD OR ALIVE (PREFERABLY DEAD).”**
Beneath the image, from an account with the username “Wacko,” the suspect, Tyler Maxon Avalos, added:
*“Cough cough. When they don’t serve us, then what?”*
Avalos identifies himself as an anarchist—an adherent to a political philosophy advocating for self-governance and the absence of hierarchical authority, including rulers, law enforcement, and centralized government structures.
In addition to this incident, Avalos has an extensive criminal history. He was convicted of stalking in Minnesota in July 2022 and holds a prior domestic battery conviction from Florida in 2016, indicating a pattern of violent behavior.
