This 1963 Harley-Davidson FL Duo-Glide was refurbished prior to being purchased by the seller in 2021. In 2022, the separately acquired 1945 Harley-Davidson LE sidecar also underwent a refurbishment, which included dent repair and a repaint to match the bike’s blue and white finish. The sidecar’s black vinyl interior was replaced as part of the restoration.
Additional work on the bike has included rebuilding the brakes and replacing the wiring harness. The motorcycle is powered by a 74ci Panhead V-twin engine, linked to a hand-shifted four-speed transmission. It features a Hydra Glide fork, adjustable shocks, and 16″ wire-spoke wheels.
Other notable equipment includes a windshield, a post-sprung saddle, a luggage rack, an S&S Cycle Super G carburetor, a 12-volt alternator, an electronic ignition module, and a two-into-one exhaust system with a fishtail muffler.
The single-seat sidecar is equipped with a steel body, leaf-spring suspension, and a 16″ wire-spoke wheel. It also features a rear-mounted spare tire and a valanced fender with a tombstone taillight.
This Duo-Glide sidecar rig is now offered with a clean Massachusetts title in the seller’s name.
