Pete Davidson surprised his pregnant girlfriend, Elsie Hewitt, with an unforgettable private jet date to see Paul McCartney in concert on Friday. After their flight landed, the comedian revealed to Hewitt that they had touched down in Minnesota to attend McCartney’s show at the U.S. Bank Stadium.
The former “Saturday Night Live” star went above and beyond by arranging a special backstage meet-and-greet with Paul McCartney, 83. “That was really like a special lil bucket list moment for me,” Hewitt, 29, shared in a later post. “He is pretty much the one person I’ve always wanted to meet. Do I have the sweetest, most thoughtful [boyfriend] or what?”
Hewitt and Davidson are expecting their first child together, a joyous announcement made in July, just months after the couple went public with their relationship in March.
The post comes shortly after Davidson’s ex-fling, Kim Kardashian, resurfaced memories of their brief romance during her “Call Her Daddy” interview on Wednesday. Kardashian reflected on a difficult moment during their relationship, recalling how her ex-husband Kanye West taunted Davidson in his 2022 “Eazy” music video.
In the video, the Yeezy designer, 48, who finalized his divorce from the SKIMS founder in November 2022, depicted Davidson as being buried alive. “That made me feel really sad. That really wasn’t fair for him,” Kardashian said on the podcast, according to Daily Mail.
Davidson and Kardashian briefly dated from October 2021 to August 2022 amid her split from West. At the time of their breakup, sources told Page Six that their age difference was a contributing factor.
“Pete is 28 and Kim is 41; they are just in very different places at the moment,” an insider explained. “Pete is totally spontaneous and impulsive and wants her to fly to New York, or wherever he is on a moment’s notice. But Kim has four kids and it isn’t that easy. She needs to focus on the kids.”
Despite past relationships and challenges, Davidson’s thoughtful gesture highlights the strong bond he shares with Hewitt as they prepare to welcome their first child together.
