The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have announced that they will continue their operations in Gaza until a clear political directive is provided, according to a security official.
Earlier reports from the Saudi newspaper Al-Hadath indicated that a ceasefire in Gaza is expected to take effect later in the afternoon, under an existing agreement. However, the IDF remains active on the ground.
IDF soldiers were seen operating in Gaza City on October 3, 2025, demonstrating the ongoing military efforts in the area.
