Earlier reports from the Saudi newspaper Al-Hadath indicated that a ceasefire in Gaza is expected to take effect later in the afternoon under a new agreement. However, the IDF’s current stance remains firm on maintaining their presence and operations until further instructions are received.
IDF soldiers were recently seen operating in Gaza City on October 3, 2025, highlighting the ongoing military engagement in the area.
