Detained Flotilla Participant Accused of Biting Prison Medical Staff During Examination
A staff member escorting a Spanish national as part of a routine medical examination ahead of her deportation on Monday reported that the detainee bit the worker during the examination.
The incident occurred while the detainee, a participant in the Global Sumud Flotilla, was undergoing the medical checkup. The flotilla aims to reach Gaza and break Israel’s naval blockade.
