Hamas May Struggle to Deliver on Terms of Agreement, Still Divided, Mediators Warn

Mediators have expressed concerns that Hamas may be unable to fulfill the terms of a ceasefire agreement. The group remains divided, and with difficulties in paying its fighters and coordinating with newly recruited militants, there are fears that some terrorists may disregard Hamas’s demands to disarm.

Hamas members were seen standing at the funeral of Marwan Issa, a senior Hamas deputy military commander who was killed in an Israeli airstrike during the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas. The funeral took place in the central Gaza Strip on February 7, 2025.
