Actor Anya Singh, who recently starred in Aryan Khan’s directorial debut *The Bads of Bollywood*, has come forward to defend him against circulating rumors questioning his directorial skills.
Speaking to *Hindustan Times*, Singh emphasized Khan’s tireless efforts on the project, stating, “I feel people just want an opportunity to bring another person down,” in response to social media claims suggesting that Khan may have had a ghost director for the series.
**Dedication to the Project**
Singh praised Khan’s unwavering dedication throughout the making of *The Bads of Bollywood*. She shared, “He has worked really hard on this project. From 7 in the morning to 11 pm, his energy never dropped. You never saw him sigh. He was always smiling and so focused.”
She also highlighted Khan’s choice to collaborate with a youthful team, pointing out that despite having the option to hire veteran technicians, he chose to work with his team of young writers and Directors of Photography (DOPs).
**Climax Secrecy on Set**
In an interesting revelation, Singh disclosed that the cast was kept in the dark about the show’s climax until the day of shooting. “We never read the climax. We were narrated the climax on the day of the shoot. For months, we didn’t know what it was,” she said.
Only three senior cast members—Mona Singh, Bobby Deol, and Manoj Pahwa—along with Aryan Khan and writers Bilal Siddiqui and Manav Chauhan, were aware of the ending beforehand.
**Reception of *The Bads of Bollywood***
Aryan Khan’s directorial debut has been met with critical acclaim and a positive response from fans. The series features an ensemble cast that includes Lakshya, Raghav Juyal, and Sahher Bambba.
