Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar, born on April 24, 1973, at 1:00 pm (rectified to 1:01 pm) in Mumbai, is often dubbed the ‘God of Cricket’ in India. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest cricketers and batsmen of all time.
Astrologically, Sachin has Cancer rising (Ascendant) at 17.58 degrees, with the Ascendant lord Moon placed in the 6th house in Sagittarius. He was born on Krishna Paksha Saptami tithi, during which the signs Cancer and Sagittarius become dagdha (burnt). Typically, planets positioned in dagdha rasis do not yield satisfactory results. However, there is an exception in his case since his Ascendant is Cancer (a dagdha rasi), and its lord Moon is located in another dagdha rasi (Sagittarius).
Sachin experienced his Moon dasa from May 1982 to May 1992. He began his cricket career during this period and played his first Ranji Trophy match on November 14, 1987.
Currently, the dasa running is of Jupiter, with the antar dasa (sub-period) of Venus. Venus is positioned in the 10th house of status, name, and fame, in the sign Aries, its own nakshatra Bharani. This period spans from April 9, 2025, to December 9, 2027.
Between January and June 2026, during the Venus antar dasa, Sachin is expected to be accorded a high position by the government. It is likely that he may be offered the opportunity to head the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
During the same Venus antar dasa, in October or November 2025, his son Arjun Tendulkar is predicted to be selected to play in some matches. Arjun is expected to perform exceptionally well in international cricket. Overall, the Venus antar dasa from April 9, 2025, to December 9, 2027, is set to be a highly prosperous period for both father and son.
Following this, the next antar dasa within Jupiter’s main period will be of the Sun, from December 9, 2027, to September 26, 2028. This phase is also forecasted to be very favorable for both Sachin and Arjun. The Sun, exalted and receiving directional strength, is placed in Sachin’s 10th house, further enhancing prospects during this time.
The subsequent antar dasa of Moon within the Jupiter dasa, from September 26, 2028, to January 1, 2030, indicates that Sachin will be largely away from the cricketing world. He should focus on taking care of his health during this period, as his ascendant lord Moon’s placement in the 6th house along with Rahu advises caution. However, since Moon is an exception despite being in a tithi shunya rasi, no major health concerns are anticipated.
Meanwhile, Arjun Tendulkar is expected to come into the limelight and gain significant momentum in his cricket career during this time.
From January 1, 2030, to January 2, 2031, the antar dasa of Mars within Jupiter’s dasa will prove extremely favorable for both Sachin and Arjun. Arjun is expected to achieve international fame during this period.
In the following antar dasa of Rahu, from January 2, 2031, to May 28, 2033, Sachin will remain out of active cricket. Nonetheless, an appointment to some international cricket forums is highly possible. His son Arjun is forecasted to excel remarkably during this phase.
