Players are taken through the city of Krat during its final days, experiencing time travel shenanigans that leave P and Gemini stuck in the past.
Overture helps fill in narrative gaps, making the overall story feel more complete while also offering players a worthy new challenge. Neowiz and Round 8 dazzled players with their steampunk take on a whimsical zoo, showcasing fresh sights and intriguing landscapes to explore. This setting also paves the way for fierce battles against feral beasts.
Powerful new bosses await in Overture—enemies strong enough to stand alongside the notorious lineup from the base game. One standout example is Markiona, Puppeteer of Death, who tests players against a twisted doll-handler wielding an enchanted puppet. The encounter raises fascinating questions about who is really controlling whom: the puppet or the puppeteer.
To face these challenges, players will need to be at their best. This is where another of Overture’s standout features shines: an array of powerful new weapons that expand combat options and strategies.
