Blueface and King Harris found themselves trading shots online this week after the West Coast rapper cracked jokes comparing one of his girlfriends to T.I.’s son, sparking a back-and-forth that quickly turned uncomfortable.
The situation began when Blueface took to social media to address ongoing chatter about his girlfriend, Nevaeh Akira. Responding to comments suggesting she resembles Clifford Joseph “King” Harris III, Blueface leaned into the comparison with a mocking post.
“King Harris you look like my bitch bro get over it,” Blueface wrote with a laughing emoji. “There’s nothing manly about you lil bro please don’t make it weird.”
The comments didn’t stop there. In a livestream clip that circulated online, Blueface doubled down while standing next to Akira. “Y’all keep saying my bitch looks like King Harris, right?” he said. “Baby, you kind of do a little bit. Just a little bit, though. Like a better version. Baby, you look like him a little bit.”
Akira laughed during the exchange, seemingly unfazed even as the remarks spread across social media.
King, however, did not take the comparison lightly. In a series of videos posted in response, the rapper made it clear he was uncomfortable.
“I’m lost for words right now,” King said. “I just seen a video. And I don’t know how to feel. I just seen a video where Blueface said his girl looks like me. First of all, I don’t look like no female ever. Second of all, why the hell would you say that, brother?”
He went on to explain why the joke crossed a line for him. “Now I’m under the impression that you think your girl looks like me,” King said. “I don’t like that shit.”
King added that while he understood the joke, it still felt off. “But real shit, as a player, though, why would you say your girl looks like another man? That’s weird, bro. I get the joke, but I would’ve never said no shit like that.”
Addressing Akira’s reaction, King pushed back on the framing entirely.
“I’m less mad, more like weirded out,” he said. “Why would you say your girl resembles a guy? That shit don’t sit. And then props to her. She was like, ‘Well, that means I’m handsome.’ Nah, baby, you’re supposed to be beautiful, pretty, sexy. Men are handsome, you know?”
He continued, “Don’t get her thinking she handsome, Blueface. I’m handsome. She’s the female, beautiful, you know? Man traits should not be there.”
This back-and-forth arrives amid continued controversy surrounding Blueface’s personal life. Akira has previously stated publicly that she doesn’t mind if Blueface cheats, while the rapper himself has said he believes he needs multiple girlfriends.
