**Singer High School Announces Students of the Year**
Singer High School is proud to recognize the outstanding achievements of its Students of the Year across different grade levels.
**High School Student of the Year: Paislee Kate Hamilton**
Paislee Kate Hamilton, a dedicated 17-year-old senior who has attended Singer since kindergarten, has been named Singer High School’s High School Student of the Year. She is the daughter of Zane and Shelli Hamilton and the younger sister to her brother, Maverick.
Maintaining an impressive 4.0 GPA, Paislee excels in dual enrollment courses, skillfully balancing both high school and college-level studies. She currently serves as president of both the Student Council and the Senior Class, where she plays a key role in organizing events, supporting student initiatives, and promoting school spirit. Additionally, Paislee is an active member of the Beta Club, contributing to academic and community service projects.
Outside of school, Paislee enjoys spending time with friends and family, volunteering at her church, and engaging in various activities. Looking ahead, she plans to continue her education at McNeese State University in Lake Charles, aspiring to become a teacher.

**8th Grade Student of the Year: Charleigh Kate Zaunbrecher**
Charleigh Kate Zaunbrecher has been named Singer High School’s 8th Grade Student of the Year. At 13 years old, Charleigh is the daughter of Heather Lyons and Bennett Zaunbrecher and is the oldest of four children.
She has consistently demonstrated a commitment to excellence both inside and outside the classroom. Charleigh actively participates in numerous extracurricular activities including Jr. High and High School softball and basketball at Singer, as well as Travel Ball. She is a member of Beta Club, 4-H, Student Council, Robotics Team, Saving for Singer, and the SHARE Volunteer Group.
Charleigh loves to volunteer, understanding the importance of helping others and supporting the community. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities such as playing sports, riding her bike, traveling, and working at her dad’s restaurant.
After high school, Charleigh plans to attend Northwestern State University to major in Business Economics with a focus on data and analysis within the IT industry. She also hopes to continue playing softball at Northwestern.

**Elementary Student of the Year: Robert Croix Suchanek**
Robert Croix Suchanek, son of Demp and Kristin Suchanek, has been named Singer High School’s Elementary Student of the Year. Robert is currently a 5th grader who serves as both the Elementary BETA president and the 4-H president.
He was a member of the 2025-26 Jr. High basketball team and has played football, baseball, and basketball for six years. Beyond sports, Robert enjoys hunting, fishing, competing in 4-H skeet shooting, traveling, and spending time with his older brother, Cyrus.
Looking to the future, Robert intends to continue playing hard and working even harder to achieve his goals.
