Four Indianettes named First Team All-District; Dworsky earns Second Team All-State honors

In TAPPS 2A District 6, the Hallettsville-Sacred Heart Indianettes volleyball team went 18-20 overall and finished their district schedule with a second-place record of 4-2. They won two playoff games before bowing out of the postseason to Faith West Academy in straight sets on Nov. 8. Indianette players Rylan Dwosky, Ella Demel, Layne Besetzny, and Kenzie Chance were all named to the First Team All-District team. In the process, Dworsky earned 2A Second Team All-State honors. Jillian Whited, Lanie Haas, and Catherine Lemonds earned Second Team All-District recognition. Ashtyn Schaefer and Allie Clark earned honorable mention. Dworsky, Demel, Chance, Whited, and Haas also earned TAPPS 2A Academic All-State recognition. The Texas High School Coaches Association recognized Demel as a First Team Academic All-State achiever. Haas and Mabry Machac were named Second Team Academic All-State performers. Dworsky, Avery Beach, and Clare Harper received honorable mention.
