Sueños Festival will return to Chicago’s Grant Park in 2026 for its fifth year. The milestone music event will feature a headlining set from star música mexicana group Fuerza Regida on May 24. The complete Sueños Fest 2026 lineup will be unveiled in the new year with performers scheduled for May 23 and 24. The 2025 lineup included headlining performances from Shakira, Peso Pluma, Don Omar, and Grupo Frontera. Fuerza Regida recently joined forces with Grupo Frontera at the 2025 Latin Grammy Awards. The groups performed their collaboration “Me Jalo” before Fuerza delved into a fiery performance of “Malboro Rojo.” Headlining festivals, taking over awards show stages, and selling out concerts are all part of Fuerza Regida’s prevailing agenda to become an essential act in music. Trending Stories “Now, we’re competing against Coldplay, those bands that are up there. Of course, we still need a lot to do and sell out in Brazil like Coldplay does,” Jesús Ortíz Paz told Rolling Stone earlier this year. “That’s our whole goal, and that’s our point. To manifest being on Anglo television, to manifest being on Anglo charts, and that’s where we think we’re heading with this album. We want to be the ones, the rock stars, the crazy ones the Beatles of this genre.” In May, Fuerza Regida released their latest album 111xpantia. The LP debuted at Number Two on the Billboard 200 chart, making history as the highest charting música mexicana release. “This album right here, is all about making your dreams come true, bro,” JOP said. “The eye [in the artwork], it resembles manifestation. It resembles new beginnings. The 111 [angel numbers] in the name. The name Ixpantia comes from the Aztecs. It’s all about manifesting.”.
