Earlier this week, Netflix Games announced that *Red Dead Redemption* would be coming to mobile devices through its gaming service, alongside several other titles. What Netflix didn’t reveal at the time is that *Red Dead Redemption* is also heading to current-generation consoles.
Starting in December, the iconic game will be playable not only on iOS but also on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and the Nintendo Switch 2. This new port of *Red Dead Redemption* will include both the base game and the *Undead Nightmare* expansion.
Considered by many to be a Rockstar masterpiece, the 2010 release tells the original story of John Marston. Players follow Marston as he rides across the frontier to track down his old gang, bring them to justice, and clear his own criminal record to keep his family safe.
*Red Dead Redemption* would later lead to the equally popular *Red Dead Redemption 2*, which remains the latest installment in the critically acclaimed series. Fans can look forward to revisiting this classic adventure on a range of modern platforms this holiday season.
