Dispatch Season 1’s success makes Season 2 a real question for AdHoc Studio

AdHoc Studio is a late success story for a smaller developer in 2025, achieving sales of over 1 million copies thanks to its new narrative title, *Dispatch*.

Season 1 wraps up this Wednesday, but the game is already the talk of the internet, with players raving about its diverse characters and memorable moments. Given the strong success of the first season, a second season seems more likely, according to the developers.

AdHoc Studio co-founder and *Dispatch* co-director Nick Herman discussed the possibility of a Season 2 on the Friends Per Second podcast, as reported by GamesRadar. Herman shared that the response has been more than enough to consider continuing the series:

“Just to give you a timeline of events, it was just a little under a week ago that *Dispatch* first released. When the game launched, AdHoc Studio had no idea what to expect. But this far in, with an Overwhelmingly Positive rating and over 1 million units sold in ten days, the game has fared extraordinarily well.”

Part of this success is due to how *Dispatch* captures the classic Telltale narrative game style, while also avoiding unnecessary delays in gameplay — a sentiment echoed by Senior Editor Ozzie Mejia.

With such a strong start, fans are eagerly awaiting what AdHoc Studio has in store next.
