CHICAGO (WLS) — A vehicle crashed into a Logan Square vintage shop Wednesday afternoon, causing significant damage but fortunately no injuries.
Video footage shows the car breaking through the front window of Lost Girls Vintage, located in the 2700-block of North Sawyer Avenue. The vehicle then drove almost all the way to the back of the store.
A co-owner of the business explained that the store was closed at the time due to a plumbing issue, and the maintenance crew was on a lunch break when the crash occurred. She confirmed that no one was injured, including the driver.
According to the store owner, the driver said he accidentally hit the accelerator instead of the brake pedal.
