2XKO players will keep their early access rewards & purchases post-launch

At the end of January 2026, Riot Games is finally set to give the tag-team fighting game 2XKO its full 1.0 release. After spending a considerable time in early access, players have had plenty of opportunities to try out the game and earn or purchase cosmetics such as character skins and stickers along the way.

Fortunately, these early access rewards won’t disappear when 2XKO officially launches. Riot Games has confirmed that all your earned and purchased items will carry over to the full release. This means you’ll keep your character colors, skins, masteries, stickers, stages, and other goodies acquired during Season Zero when the game hits its official launch.

The developers shared these important details on the game’s official social media channels earlier this week as part of some housekeeping about what players can expect moving forward. One of the most reassuring pieces of news for early access players is that nobody will be going back to square one.

Additionally, since 2XKO is making its debut on consoles alongside PC, Riot Games has promised cross-platform play and progression. This means players won’t have to worry about starting over regardless of the platform they choose. You’ll be able to play with others no matter their platform preference, and your progress will be synced across devices.

For example, you won’t have to re-buy your Jon Talbain-looking blue Warwick color if you switch to playing on a PS5. Simply log into your Riot account and all your unlocks will be there waiting for you—just as they are for everyone who played in early access.
