“Playing QB is extremely hard”: Shedeur Sanders makes feelings known on his disastrous INT without getting any reps with Browns 1st team

Sheduer Sanders made his NFL debut for the Cleveland Browns on Sunday, coming off the bench for fellow rookie Dillon Gabriel against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 11. Gabriel did not return to play in the second half due to a concussion issue, paving the way for Sanders to take the field for the first time this season.

With all eyes on the Browns’ rookie quarterback, Sanders completed 4 of his 16 passes for 47 yards, threw an interception, and was sacked twice in what was an underwhelming debut.

Following the game, Sanders addressed his performance candidly. “I don’t think I played good,” he said. “I don’t think I played good at all. I think there’s a lot of things we need to look at during the week and just get comfortable throwing routes with Jerry and all those guys. That was my first ball to him all year.”

He added, “Overall, we’ve got to go into next week and understand, especially since we have a week to prepare, and work on the stuff I like to do.”

Looking ahead, Sanders could be making his first NFL start as Gabriel’s availability remains uncertain for next Sunday’s clash against the Las Vegas Raiders.
