Their paths cross in Hanyang, sparking a story filled with romance, palace intrigue, and perilous secrets.

### What to Expect from the Upcoming Episodes of Moon River?

The next episodes will focus on Park Dal-i and Crown Prince Yi-gang as they struggle to adjust to their switched bodies. With Yi-gang’s soul now inhabiting Dal-i’s body, he begins working in the palace as a eunuch, trying to stay unnoticed while learning to navigate daily life.

Tension rises when they realize a dangerous complication: Park Dal-i’s face is identical to that of the late Crown Princess, whose death still casts a shadow over the palace. This resemblance places them at immediate risk. If anyone in the palace recognizes Park Dal-i’s face, she could be killed.

The upcoming episodes are expected to explore how they manage this threat while trying to keep their true identities hidden amidst growing palace conspiracies.

### Moon River Episodes 3-4: Rising Tensions, Royal Conflicts, and a Shocking Body-Switch

**Episode 3** begins with Crown Prince Park Yi-gang saving Park Dal-i from a wrongful theft accusation at the law enforcement office. After escorting her outside, he harshly orders her to leave Hanyang, the capital. He explains that the price she must pay for her low status and for having a face identical to his late wife, the former Crown Princess, is to disappear from the city.

His rude behavior is deliberate, meant to prevent himself from returning to her—a fear he harbors deeply. This leaves Dal-i heartbroken.

Meanwhile, the Crown Prince’s brother, Yi-un, proves Dal-i’s innocence at the law office. Later, he proposes to Kim U-hui, daughter of Prime Minister Kim Han-cheol. U-hui loves Yi-un and wishes to marry him, despite her father’s opposition. Yi-un, once Crown Prince before being dethroned by Kim Han-cheol, has survived by being sent to a temple where U-hui also spent part of her childhood. They have loved each other since then.

Unaware of Kim Han-cheol’s dark past—including killing Yi-un’s parents—Yi-un remains hopeful, but U-hui is set to be married to Crown Prince Yi-gang per her father’s plans, which she opposes fiercely.

When Yi-un learns the truth, he is heartbroken but congratulates U-hui on becoming Crown Princess before stepping away from her life. U-hui refuses to accept their separation and sends a letter to Crown Prince Yi-gang, asking him to escort her back to Hanyang so she can kill him.

As Yi-un heads home, he asks Dal-i to deliver a letter to Kim U-hui. The letter congratulates her and gives her the key to his cherished greenhouse, wishing her success as the future Crown Princess and Queen.

Dal-i meets Prince Yi-gang at the temple on her way to deliver the letter. After giving the letter to U-hui, Dal-i is asked to leave the temple grounds reluctantly.

In the capital, U-hui has a tense meeting with Crown Prince Yi-gyum, refusing to marry him despite his insistence driven by political ambition and the power her father holds.

Meanwhile, the Crown Prince’s entourage is ambushed by forces sent by Kim U-hui. Though O Shin-won is shot, the bullet lodges harmlessly in his nameplate. U-hui then shoots Crown Prince Yi-gyum twice, sending him tumbling off a cliff into a river.

The next morning, Se-dol and Sin-won return to the capital without Yi-gang. The palace descends into chaos as officials believe the Crown Prince to be dead and debate succession.

However, Yi-gang is not dead. Park Dal-i finds his unconscious body and nurses him back to health in a nearby cave.

Kim U-hui returns to her father, admitting she killed the Crown Prince and insists he install Yi-un as the next Crown Prince and arrange their marriage. Declaring her intention to use her father for her own rise, she shocks Kim Han-cheol.

Fifteen days pass as Dal-i cares for Yi-gang. When he regains consciousness but remains unable to move, Yi-gang sends a letter to Se-dol and, with Dal-i’s help, sets out a few days later. On the road, Dal-i reminds him of the time he treated her injured knee and says she must now save him. Overcome with emotion, Yi-gang tells her she has already saved him and asks her to continue helping him before losing consciousness again.

**Episode 4** opens with Dal-i resting the unconscious Crown Prince in a nearby cave until morning to continue their journey.

Back in the capital, conspiracies intensify. Kim U-hui tries to convince her father to install Yi-un as Crown Prince, but Kim Han-cheol fears Yi-un, the legitimate heir and son of the previous King he murdered, will seek revenge.

The letter Yi-gang sent reaches Se-dol, but before delivering it to the King, Kim U-hui abducts him. She uses the letter to frame Yi-un, pushing the King to exile him. Meanwhile, the Queen Dowager secretly plots to kill the King and place someone from her own lineage on the throne.

On the road, Crown Prince Yi-gang and Dal-i face ambushes but fight back and are saved by O Sin-won, who Yi-un sends after discovering his brother is alive. O Sin-won warns Yi-gang that Yi-un is about to be exiled, making Yi-gang realize the King is in danger.

They rush back to the capital and save both the King and Yi-un.

Later, Yi-gang sends gifts to Dal-i as a token of gratitude, including a red silk gown, and asks her to accompany him to see the fireworks.

As Dal-i prepares to go with Yi-un, Kim U-hui appears. Yi-un tells U-hui he intends to marry Dal-i and urges her to move on.

At the festival, Dal-i becomes separated and is harassed by a minister who demands she accompany him, accusing her of wearing noble attire. She defends herself, escalating the situation until Yi-gang arrives.

The minister recognizes Yi-gang as Crown Prince, revealing the truth to Dal-i, who then refuses his gifts, believing he wants to dress her like his late wife.

Kim U-hui attacks Dal-i with a sword, accusing her of treason. Yi-un tries to stop her, but U-hui cuts Dal-i’s neck. Yi-gang grabs the blade to stop her, injuring himself.

Yi-gang remembers learning that Kim U-hui orchestrated all the attacks. The confrontation ends, and Dal-i later tells Yi-un she feels uncomfortable in the gown and wants to remove it.

Yi-gang takes Dal-i to a quiet bridge to clear the misunderstanding. He says he never intended to dress her like his late wife, but Dal-i demands an apology. He refuses, stating a Crown Prince does not apologize to someone of ordinary status.

Dal-i replies that a royal who does not love the people will never be loved and that a ruler must love their people. Her words remind Yi-gang of something the late Crown Princess once said, exciting him.

He grabs her, demanding to know who she really is, causing Dal-i to step back in shock and near the edge of the bridge. Trying to pull her back, they both fall into the river.

Wounded and struggling to breathe, especially Yi-gang, Dal-i attempts CPR by pressing her lips to his, but they both struggle.

As their lives seem to slip away, fate intervenes, drawing them back to survival—with a twist.

When they regain consciousness, their souls have switched. Dal-i now inhabits the Crown Prince’s body, and Yi-gang’s soul is inside Dal-i’s.

With this shocking twist, Episode 4 of **Moon River** ends.

Stay tuned for episodes 5 and 6 to see how the Crown Prince and Dal-i navigate their new realities amid palace intrigue and danger.
