Netflix Games hub exits beta with several games playable on TV and phones today

For years, Netflix has been participating in the gaming business through what one would call traditional channels. Games have been released on phones and other platforms a la carte, many allowing players to dive in with their Netflix login information. However, there hasn’t been much intersection between Netflix Games and the central Netflix movie app—until today.

On Thursday, Netflix held a special showcase to announce a major update: Netflix Games can now be accessed directly through the main Netflix app. To find games, users can simply look at the top of their screens to find a new **Games tab**. In many cases, starting a game will prompt players to scan a QR code displayed on their screen. Scanning this code turns a player’s phone into a dedicated controller for that game, enabling both single-player and local multiplayer sessions.

“You can now go from watching *KPop Demon Hunters* to playing *Pictionary: Game Night* without ever leaving Netflix. And for those who love to play anywhere and everywhere, we’re bringing even more games to your phone with our own special Netflix touch,” the company shared.

Previously, Netflix had been trialing the Games tab on select devices such as Vizio televisions. Today’s announcement officially brings the feature out of beta and expands it to all Netflix TV apps. This rollout includes Netflix’s new **Party Games collection**, which was first revealed last October.

The Party Games collection features titles like:

– **LEGO Party**
– **Boggle Party**
– **Party Crashers**
– **Pictionary: Game Night**
– **Tetris Time Warp**

Each game comes with its own unique controller interface, and future releases on the Games hub will continue this trend with tailored controls.

Netflix isn’t stopping there. The company is also continuing to grow its mobile gaming lineup, unveiling a slew of new games set to arrive on phones and tablets. This includes several games targeted specifically at younger children, such as:

– **LEGO DUPLO**
– **Barbie Color Creations**
– **Toca Boca Hair Salon**

All of these are available now, with additional kids’ games like **PAW Patrol Academy** and **World of Peppa Pig** coming soon.

For adult audiences, more mainstream games are in the pipeline, including **Red Dead Redemption** and **WWE 2K25: Netflix Edition**, which are expected to launch in the near future.

Netflix’s mobile games will also draw heavily from its library of originals. For example:

– **Netflix Puzzled** offers daily puzzles themed around Netflix’s various original series and movies.
– **Dead Man’s Party: A Knives Out Game** is a narrative-driven experience set in the world of the Benoit Blanc detective movies.

Best of all, the Netflix Games hub is now available to all Netflix subscribers at no additional charge.

Finally, Netflix teased one more game during the showcase—**Best Guess Live**—but it will take a little more time to explain. Stay tuned for more details coming soon.
