However, the latest report from Fightful suggests that The King of Strong Style will not face Tanahashi in his farewell bout.
The report also highlighted that the identity of Tanahashi’s final opponent will be revealed within the next week. As of November 6, 2025, NJPW plans to hold a press conference to officially announce Hiroshi Tanahashi’s last opponent.
