Milan Lucic’s wife Brittany reacts to his PTO signing with AHL’s Thunderbirds: “You’re so loved”

Milan Lucic’s push to return to professional hockey received a public show of support from his wife, Brittany, this week. On Tuesday, Brittany Lucic reposted the Springfield Thunderbirds’ announcement graphic on her Instagram stories and added a brief message of encouragement in the caption: “You’re so loved and supported! Excited for this opportunity 🤍.”

The Thunderbirds, the AHL affiliate of the St. Louis Blues, officially announced they had signed the 37-year-old forward to a professional tryout (PTO) contract. This move allows Lucic to continue skating and ramp up game readiness in hopes of earning a full deal within the Blues organization.

Lucic previously signed a PTO with St. Louis over the summer and appeared in four preseason games this year, where he recorded a goal and an assist before a lower-body injury sidelined him. He has not played in the AHL during his pro career, making this a new step as he works toward a potential NHL return.

The Thunderbirds framed the signing as an opportunity for the longtime forward to get reps and contribute to the club while continuing his push for an NHL spot. For Lucic, the move is part of a comeback effort after a difficult past year marked by limited action.

### Milan Lucic’s Wife Gushes Over Being Treated ‘Like a Queen’

Last week, Milan Lucic’s wife Brittany shared a heartwarming moment on Instagram featuring a special gift from the former Boston Bruins star. She posted that her husband had surprised her with a diamond ring during a recent outing.

Brittany shared a story with a picture showing Milan holding her hand, which had a new sprawling diamond ring on it. “Hehe 🤍 @milan.lucic.17 ∞ Always treating me like a 👸,” she captioned the story.

The gesture came just weeks after Lucic surprised Brittany and their daughters with VIP tickets to Tate McRae’s St. Louis concert. Milan and Brittany originally got married in 2012, and the couple share three children.

### Brittany Lucic Launches Wellness Platform “Reclaimed Grace”

Earlier this month, Brittany also announced the launch of Reclaimed Grace, a subscription-based wellness and self-help platform priced at $26 per month. The program focuses on reframing negative narratives and reducing the stigma surrounding personal struggles.

“I really wanted it to be a positive place where people could come and feel supported, a space to help take steps toward putting their lives in the right direction,” Brittany explained in her announcement video.

She added that many people still feel shame when facing life challenges: “It’s easier to point fingers than to look in the mirror.”

Milan Lucic publicly supported her new venture, commenting: “Congrats love. Being of service and helping others is so special and so great. Proud of you ❤️.”

Brittany said she had been developing the project for months with her team and plans to host live sessions as the platform grows.
