AEW recently announced a major match involving Jon Moxley, and a member of the Death Riders has now reacted to the news.
Jon Moxley has built an undeniable legacy in All Elite Wrestling. Known as the Purveyor of Violence, he is a record four-time AEW World Champion and leads one of the promotion’s most dominant heel factions. However, recently, Moxley and his faction, the Death Riders, have faced some setbacks in AEW.
The challenges began at All In: Texas, where Moxley lost the AEW World Title to Hangman Page. This was followed by a defeat in a high-stakes 10-man tag Lights Out Steel Cage match at Forbidden Door, where Moxley’s team fell to Will Ospreay’s squad. Most recently, at WrestleDream 2025, Moxley suffered a loss to Darby Allin in an intense ‘I-Quit’ match.
Tonight on Dynamite: Fright Night, Moxley is scheduled for a rematch against Kyle O’Reilly. Ahead of this match, Death Riders member Marina Shafir has shared her thoughts and reaction to Moxley’s recent performances.
On her Instagram stories, Shafir reshared AEW’s official announcement of the upcoming match. She also sent a supportive message to Jon Moxley following his defeat at WrestleDream 2025.
Moxley’s “I Quit” loss to Darby Allin is more than just a single defeat — it has broader implications for Moxley’s standing and the Death Riders’ position within AEW. It wouldn’t have been surprising if some members of the faction had begun to doubt their leader’s strength after that loss.
However, Marina Shafir put those doubts to rest with a positive and encouraging message. A few days after WrestleDream, AEW posted a video on X showing Moxley acknowledging his loss but confidently stating that the Death Riders will dominate once again.
Shafir reshared this post and added, “We all know and believe in who you are #DeathRiders,” demonstrating her faith in Moxley as their leader.
