Claw Machine Simulator is one of the featured experiences in the Roblox Halloween Spotlight event. During this event, players can complete two quests to earn a Rune and a Key as rewards. These items can be used to unlock exclusive user-generated content (UGC) within the event hub, including the grand prize located in the Demon’s Cave.
This guide will walk you through completing both Halloween Spotlight quests in Claw Machine Simulator.
How to Get the Rune in Claw Machine Simulator
To obtain the Rune, you must defeat all three bosses in the starter area of the Underworld and then break into the House of Pog. Follow the steps below to complete this quest:
1. Teleport to the Underworld
The Underworld is the Halloween Spotlight event world in Claw Machine Simulator. To enter, interact with the ferryman NPC located in the game lobby. Jumping into the Underworld resets your strength and adds a Pog Tokens counter to your display; however, you keep your Tix.
2. Train to Increase Your Strength
Inside the Underworld, you’ll find several machines that allow you to Auto Train and boost your claw’s strength. Additionally, there are multiple claw arcades featuring pets that aid in farming Pog Tokens and Tix. Pets vary by rarity and damage rating, so be sure to select the best pets available to you.
3. Defeat Cyclomps, Arguss, and Mad Doosa
You will need to defeat three bosses in sequence to advance the Rune quest. Here are the bosses along with their strength levels:
- Cyclomps: 225 boss strength
- Arguss: 1196 boss strength
- Mad Doosa: 2412 boss strength
Each boss can be fought multiple times to earn more Pog Tokens. Keep in mind that every attempt consumes 10 Tix, so manage your resources carefully.
4. Unlock the House of Pog
After defeating all three bosses, you’ll need to collect 103,000 Pog Tokens to unlock the House of Pog door. Put your pets into Auto Farm mode to help destroy nearby structures, which will yield Tix and Pog Tokens.
How to Get the Key in Claw Machine Simulator
The Key quest is more challenging and lengthy. After unlocking the House of Pog, you must defeat three additional bosses, complete a parkour challenge, and slay the Pognog Champion. Here’s how to proceed:
1. Defeat Poghost, Pog Nautilus, and Lord Nog
Inside the House of Pog, fight the following bosses in order:
- Poghost: 7,268 boss strength
- Pog Nautilus: 13,900 boss strength
- Lord Nog: 26,000 boss strength
Just like before, the House of Pog contains multiple Auto Train machines and claw arcades to help you acquire stronger pets. It’s recommended to reach over 90,000 strength to easily defeat Lord Nog.
Remember, each boss run costs 10 Tix.
2. Take and Place the Axe of Destiny
After beating Lord Nog, collect one million Pog Tokens to unlock the case holding the Axe of Destiny. Once you have the Axe, you need to complete a parkour challenge.
Head back to the Underworld’s spawn area, take the ladder near the ferryman NPC, and start the parkour. Using a Hoverboard to move upward smoothly will make this easier. At the end, place the Axe of Destiny on the pedestal to open a door leading deeper into the Underworld.
3. Escape from the Claw Machine
In the new area, you’ll notice warning signs such as “Danger” and “Turn Back” near a river. Cross the river despite the warnings, go down the stairs, and you will fall into a claw machine. Here, a quick mini-game begins: you must dodge attacks from a Roblox avatar claw while breaking the glass steadily.
4. Defeat the Pognog Champion
After escaping the claw machine, the Pognog Champion spawns in the grand Pognog Arena. Use the three special abilities provided alongside your claw to defeat this boss. Pay attention to the boss’s attack patterns and keep side-stepping to avoid damage.
