‘God Forbid’: Curtis Sliwa Says Zohran Mamdani Is Going To ‘Regret Ever Knowing’ His Name If He Wins

**New York City GOP Mayoral Candidate Curtis Sliwa Issues Strong Warning to Opponent Zohran Mamdani Ahead of November Election**

New York City Republican mayoral candidate Curtis Sliwa has sent a strong warning to his Democratic opponent, Zohran Mamdani, ahead of the November 4 election. The Guardian Angels founder made it clear that he will not collaborate with Mamdani if the Democratic socialist wins the race to lead the city.

According to Fox News, Sliwa’s comments came after a debate on Wednesday, during which Mamdani said he would rank Sliwa second in a ranked-choice voting system. When asked if he would support Mamdani’s administration if the 34-year-old assemblyman wins, Sliwa gave a firm response.

“The only thing I would do if, God forbid, Zohran Mamdani was the choice of the people—and we will leave it up to them—is I will organize resistance because I will improve. I will not move. Zohran Mamdani could bet that I will be his worst nightmare,” Sliwa told reporters after the debate.

Sliwa also emphasized that unlike former Governor Andrew Cuomo—who is running as an Independent after losing the Democratic primary to Mamdani in June—he will not leave New York City.

Despite their many disagreements, Sliwa and Mamdani have found common ground on one issue: both have pushed back against billionaire influence in the mayoral race. This comes after two wealthy businessmen publicly urged Sliwa to drop out.

The race has not been without controversy, including scams targeting voters with urgent election tricks. Red Apple Media CEO John Catsimatidis and hedge fund CEO Bill Ackman have both told Sliwa to end his campaign in order to boost Cuomo’s chances. However, Sliwa firmly rejected their request at a press conference on Monday.

“The billionaires can conspire to pick their candidate,” Sliwa said. “I trust the people. They will make the decision. I will not drop out.”

Surprisingly, Mamdani echoed some of Sliwa’s sentiments on this issue at his own press conference the same day.

“I never thought I would say this, but here we are, where the only candidates who agree that billionaires shouldn’t control the future of this city are the Republican nominee and the Democratic nominee,” Mamdani remarked.

As the election race intensifies, New Yorkers are being cautioned to stay alert against various scams that have been affecting residents across the city.

Regarding his debate response about ranking Sliwa second, Mamdani stood by his statement, explaining that he believes in ranking candidates who genuinely love New York City.

Sliwa, meanwhile, criticized Mamdani’s behavior during the debate. Comparing the Democratic candidate to Pinocchio, Sliwa joked that instead of his nose growing, Mamdani’s smile just gets bigger—a constant smile that, according to Sliwa, reveals when his opponent is not telling the truth.

The mayoral contest is shaping up to be a fierce battle that will have significant implications for New York City’s future as voters prepare to head to the polls on November 4.
