How to Evolve Pokémon Through Trading in Pokémon Legends: Z-A
Evolving Pokémon is an essential part of your progress in Pokémon Legends: Z-A. However, some Pokémon can only be evolved by trading them, and some require a specific trade code to do so. Additionally, certain Pokémon need to be holding a special item while being traded to trigger their evolution.

How to Use Trade Codes
To use these trade codes, make sure you have the relevant Pokémon and that they are holding any required item listed above. Then, follow these steps:
- Go to the Link Play option in the main menu.
- Select Link Trade.
- Choose the Faraway Players option.
- Enter the trade code associated with your Pokémon.
This will randomly link you with another player who is using the same code. Once connected, you and the other player will both receive the evolved form of your Pokémon.
Tips for Successful Trading
The main challenge with this process is that you need to find someone who is actively using the same trade code at the same time as you.
