ST. LOUIS — Police are investigating a shooting in south St. Louis that left three people injured Sunday afternoon.
Officers reported that gunfire was exchanged between two vehicles in the 4200 block of South Compton around 1 p.m.
One victim, who later stopped on I-55 near Gasconade, is in critical condition. Two others arrived at a nearby hospital for treatment.
