**Five Juveniles Arrested Following Armed Robbery and Stabbing in Vista**

VISTA, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) — Five juveniles were arrested Friday night after an armed robbery in Vista that left one person with stab wounds, according to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department.

Shortly before 9 p.m., deputies responded to a report of an assault with a deadly weapon in the 30 block of Main Street. Investigators say a group of five juveniles approached a 19-year-old man, demanded his phone, and attacked him when he refused.

During the altercation, one of the suspects pulled out a knife and stabbed another member of the group, authorities said.

The group fled the scene after stealing the victim’s personal belongings.

Deputies later located all five suspects at 240 North Santa Fe Ave., just blocks away from the crime scene. Witnesses positively identified the juveniles, and one of them—injured in the stabbing—was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

All five suspects were arrested for robbery. The teen believed to have wielded the knife is also facing charges of assault with a deadly weapon and attempted murder. They were booked into Juvenile Hall.

The remaining four juveniles were released to their parents.
