The airport medical team at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) recently conducted free training sessions on the use of automated external defibrillators (AED) and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). These sessions were held for passengers and stakeholders to mark the occasion of World Heart Day.
The initiative aimed to emphasize the importance of cardiac health while equipping the airport community and travelers with essential life-saving skills. By increasing awareness and readiness, CSMIA is committed to fostering a stronger culture of safety and care within its premises.
“By creating greater awareness and readiness, CSMIA continues to strengthen its culture of safety and care,” said a spokesperson.
