Beautiful homes star in support of Alberta Cancer Foundation Lottery

Arches, a striking catwalk, and beautiful primary suite views showcase what Edmonton’s latest lottery home grand prize could look like. This stunning home, a 2025 BILD Edmonton Metro Awards of Excellence in Housing finalist in the Best Single Family $850,000 to $1 million category, is reminiscent of classic estate offerings and exudes timeless elegance.

The house draws you in with open, comfortable spaces and captures your attention with interesting features such as an arched book nook—a perfect, cozy escape from the everyday. It even surprises with a hidden space, ideal for some private time.

This show home, known as the Georgia, is located in the southwest neighbourhood of Jägare Ridge. It serves as an example of what you could own if you become the grand prize winner in the lottery formerly known as the Cash & Cars lottery.

To celebrate its 25th anniversary, the lottery supporting the Alberta Cancer Foundation has rebranded to put its cause front and centre. It is now called the Alberta Cancer Foundation Lottery.

“Not enough people were connecting that buying a Cash & Cars lottery ticket was a way to help in the battle against cancer,” said Ryan Kelly, vice-president of communications for the Alberta Cancer Foundation. “That’s not what we wanted. We wanted people to quickly understand that the ticket they were purchasing directly supported Albertans and that when they buy that ticket, they’re part of this incredible community of people who are committed to eradicating cancer in this province.”
