Alex Eala sweeps Lu Jiajing to reach Jingshan Open semifinals

MANILA, Philippines – Alex Eala secured her spot in the semifinals of the 2025 Jingshan Tennis Open after defeating China’s Lu Jiajing with a score of 6-4, 6-1 on Friday.

Eala faced some early challenges against the hometown favorite but quickly found her rhythm. She dominated the second set to seal the victory and advance further in the WTA 125 tournament.

This win marks another semifinal appearance for Eala, showcasing her continued success on the professional circuit.
