The seller purchased the car in 2023 when it was still a plain beige “ocean liner.” Since then, a significant amount of cutting, welding, and restoration work has transformed it into a near-perfect clone of the famous movie car. Along with the vehicle, buyers will receive detailed documentation of the entire build process, as well as photos taken at various filming locations across the United States.
During ownership, the seller has driven the car approximately 24,140 kilometers, proving it has been road-tested and maintained.

Under the hood, this Family Truckster features a 5.0-liter V8 engine delivering 150 horsepower and 366 Nm of torque. It is paired with a four-speed automatic transmission, with key powertrain seals recently replaced to ensure reliability.
In addition to the mechanical build, the vehicle comes equipped with all the movie props fixed to its roof—except for Aunt Edna, who famously “passed away” in the original *National Lampoon’s Vacation*.
