### Abhinav Kashyap Opens Up About Unpleasant Experience Working with Salman Khan
Abhinav Kashyap, the director of the blockbuster film *Dabangg*, has once again spoken out about his unpleasant experience working with actor Salman Khan. In a recent interview with Bollywood Thikana, Kashyap slammed Khan and his family, highlighting the challenges he faced during the shoot — particularly Khan’s habitual tardiness on set. His complaints echo similar remarks made earlier by *Sikandar* director A.R. Murugadoss.
#### Delayed Shoots and Making People Wait
Kashyap said, “He would show up at 5:00 PM, leaving us with about 30 minutes of sunlight to get our shot. That was the only difference. He likes making people wait on him, in the hot sun, tired. We would scramble to get a couple of shots in the can and that would be it for the day.”
The director recounted an incident during the shooting of the film’s climax in Panchgani, a location over four hours away from Mumbai. “This one time, we were shooting in Panchgani. Initially, his people kept lying. They kept saying he’s left and is on his way. Then they said that he is coming in his vanity van and is sleeping,” Kashyap revealed.
#### Financial Loss Due to Delays
Kashyap stated that Salman Khan eventually arrived by helicopter, which descended to just 15 meters above the set. “Then, Salman stuck his head out, made a gesture with his hand, and left,” he recalled. “There were easily over 200 people on set that day as we were shooting the climax. The day-players had to be paid. It costs money.”
He added that Khan simply decided to postpone the shoot to the next day, causing inconvenience and financial loss to the entire crew.
#### Similar Complaints from Other Industry Professionals
Earlier, director A.R. Murugadoss shared a similar experience in an interview with Valaipechu Voice. “It’s not easy to shoot with a star. Even day scenes, we have to shoot at night because he turns up to sets only by 8:00 PM. We are people who are used to shooting right from early mornings, but that’s not how things work there,” Murugadoss said.
Actor Grusha Kapoor also recalled her experience working with Salman Khan in an interview with Siddharth Kannan. She said, “He was sitting on the sofa in a ganji and jeans and he was talking to the director. I just turned and snapped at the director, ‘What are we waiting for? It’s almost 9:00 PM.’”
