**Bihar: 2 Dead, Over 70 Affected in Diarrhea Outbreak in Darbhanga**

A diarrhea outbreak in Sara Mohanpur village of Darbhanga district, Bihar, has resulted in two deaths and has affected over 70 residents. The deceased have been identified as Deep Lal Yadav and Laxmi Devi. The outbreak initially affected children two days ago but has since spread to most villagers.

**Health Measures Taken**

To address the situation, a special medical camp has been set up in the village. Darbhanga Civil Surgeon Arun Kumar stated, “Those whose condition has worsened considerably have been admitted to Sadar Hospital and Darbhanga Medical College and Hospital (DMCH).”

The health department has assured that the outbreak will be brought under control soon, with adequate supplies of antibiotics and disinfectants provided at the camp.

**Hospital Preparedness**

In response to the outbreak, extra beds have been arranged at both Sadar Hospital and DMCH to prepare for any eventuality. A dedicated team of doctors has been deployed to provide immediate medical assistance to those affected.

The health department is working round the clock to ensure all necessary measures are implemented to control this public health crisis in Darbhanga district.
